Welcome to the North Texas Renewable Energy Group
NTREG/TXSES Diversity Internship Program
Renewable energy has been the fastest-growing source of new jobs during the past two years, more than doubling annual hiring during the past five years. Clean energy jobs include project design, engineering, sales, marketing, finance, administration, equipment installation, and other areas. While North Texas has grown a thriving local clean energy industry, more could be done to improve diversity in the workforce.
The North Texas Renewable Energy Group (NTREG), in partnership with the Texas Solar Energy Society (TXSES), is tackling the industry’s diversity challenge head-on by launching the NTREG/TXSES Diversity Internship Program (NTXDIP) to place women, under-resourced and under-represented individuals, and students of color at solar and other clean energy companies in North Texas.
