Welcome to the North Texas Renewable Energy Group
The North Texas Renewable Energy Group ("NTREG") is a Strategically Affiliated Chapter of the Texas Solar Energy Society. We meet on the second Saturday of each month, where we have guest speakers that educate our meeting attendees about renewable energy, energy efficiency, alternative transportation, and more. We also go on "field trips" to learn about solar energy sites, energy efficient buildings and other topics of interest.NTREG members and supporters participate in a variety of events throughout the year such as Earth Days, the Solar Car Challenge, DFW Solar Tour, and other local, regional, and national activities.
Founded in 2001, NTREG is the largest and most active affiliate of the Texas Solar Energy Society.
